  1. Where can I find instructions for using OU Campus?

    All employees should seek training before using OU Campus. While the software is easy to learn, our support resources are oriented toward in-person training. If you would like to study the software at your own pace, the following resources are available:

    Instructions for using OmniUpdate have been assembled by MJC and can be found here: http://support.sites.mjc.edu/helpdoc_faculty-usingou.html. While some of this content is specific to MJC and faculty use, it is also a very good general resource for web development using that system.

  2. I am suddenly locked out of my OUCampus website. I logged in before without a problem. What is happening?

    As a protection against security attacks, the OmniUpdate OU Campus system will lock any accounts that have an excessive number of failed login attempts. If you have been locked out, please contact the web support personnel at your campus, or contact the YCCD HelpDesk for assistance.

    MJC employees who select any of the MJC template styles  must ALSO set a theme for their website before the styles will be generated. Simply launch the New Document feature, and select the theme you wish to apply.
  4. Why doesn't the image uploader/editor work in OU Campus?

    The OmniUpdate image uploader/editor requires the use of Java to operate properly. While you may upload files and link them without using the uploader/editor, we recommend that you install Java to permit the use of this tool. Java can be located at http://www.java.com
  5. I created a home page in OU Campus, so why am I still seeing the provisional "Welcome" page?

    The most common reason for this problem is a misnaming of your homepage. Please verify that your web site is using a homepage name from the approved homepage name list. The current list of approved homepage names can be found here: http://sites.yosemite.edu/help/help-homepagenams.htm
